Assembles easily and feels sturdy enough. The board in the lower area (storage) is extremely thin, and bends with just the
weight of the extension pieces (more on these in a sec). The upper board is reinforced and should hold its shape well enough.
Both boards are supported by metal pegs. I wouldn't trust very much weight on the boards, so once my child is old enough I'll
definitely convert this over to the cage. The extension pieces attach easy enough (You must partially disassemble the bed).
Seems sturdy. I'm not sure if it is the varnish or the wood, but this has a noticable smell. Airing it out for a bit before
dressing it down is probably a good idea. Finally, it's pretty big (check out those dimensions). Don't let that size fool
you though, when the kid gets big enough, loose the crib.
